In Italy, in 2022, there were 192.000 auctions for a turnover of just over 31 billion euros.
Most of these concerned residential properties (57%), followed by commercial (19%) and industrial (3%) properties.
This is what emerges from the data of theObservatory di cherry brick, the innovative service that monitors investment opportunities among properties at auction, developed by Cherry Ltd, a fintech startup that provides technological solutions to the world of credit.

Lombardy is the first region, Rome stands out among the cities

La Lombardia it is the territory in which the highest number of auctions was held for an average of about 9 properties auctioned every four months (about 2 per month), equal to 14% of the lots that went up for auction on the national territory. They follow the Sicilia with an average of 7.300 quarterly auctions (22 thousand throughout the year) and the Lazio with 6.700 (20 thousand in total). Last in the standings Valle d'Aosta with 130 average auctions every four months (390 overall). The 71% of auctions took place between North-West, South and Central Italy, with the latter concentrating 26% of the lots offered for sale throughout the Peninsula, while 13% and 16% are found respectively in the North-East and in the Islands, around 16 monthly auctions that took place per month and 15 registered.
Between cities, it is Roma that the higher number of bid attempts with over 4.800 (2,5% of the national total). Second place for Naples, followed by Catania.
I Law courts those in Rome (6.350 equal to almost 3% of the total), Milan (5.270 for 2,7%), Catania (4.671) and Bergamo (4.477) managed the highest number of auctions.

Average auction base of 162.000 euros

La average starting price of sales in 2022 is 162.000 €. For residential properties, the annual value was 133.000 euros, while for commercial properties it was approximately 178.000 euros.
The average value relating to sports facilities decreased sharply, in the third quarter equal to 508.000 euros compared to almost 639.000 in the first (-20% decrease). For industrial buildings, the value stands at 639.000 thousand euros, up slightly in the third quarter after a contraction in the second.
Il Lazio is the region in which the lots whose average value auction basis was higher on a national scale, equal to 241.000 euros in the 12 months. In the Piemonte the lowest value.

In terms of the type of auctions, the telematic asynchronous mode while those in the presence "at the seller" recorded a slight decrease.
