It's not binding but it's there the Salini Impregilo offer, national leader in construction with international projections of great importance especially in America, to save Astaldi, another giant in the sector that ended up on the verge of bankruptcy which it was forced to present an agreement request.
Salini's offer was presented to Astaldi and the commissioners of the Court of Rome in the past few hours and consists of a "preliminary and non-binding expression of interest concerning activities related to the construction sector".
In essence, Salini wants to see if there are the conditions for partial integration of the two groups without passing out and without compromising their financial balance. This is why Salini's interest is not for all of Astaldi but only for some predominantly foreign businesses of the struggling giant competitor.
