Astaldi runs on the stock exchange: waiting for offers, news from Türkiye

Astaldi on shields in Piazza Affari, among the best stocks in the Milan basket. Shares, hit by a veritable buying storm, gained 11,29% to 0,779%, hitting their highest since October. The stock was previously stuck in the volatility auction due to excessive bullishness. Trading was very strong: pending the formalization of bailout offers, over three million shares changed hands against an average of 1,6 million over the last thirty days.

It should be noted that today's rally follows the excellent performance of yesterday, January 29, the day in which the shares closed the session with a 17% increase. To push the purchases are the hypotheses on the possible entry into the group of Salini Impregilo and Cdp. In fact, the wait for offers rises which, according to what was revealed by the Sun 24 Hours, could arrive in the first days of February.

We recall that by 14 February Astaldi will have to present the restructuring plan to the Court of Rome aimed at remedying the fragile financial situation in which it finds itself: the construction company has a total debt of 4,5 billion, of which 1,1 billion of cash.

To push the prices too news from Turkey. The consortium of the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir (GOI) motorway project, held by Astaldi with an 18,9% interest, is selecting financial advisors to proceed with the determination of the sale value and look for possible buyers. The motorway is part of the assets destined for sale in the industrial plan of the Italian group.

Returning to the Stock Exchange, the +30% achieved in the last two sessions represents a real breath of fresh air after an annus horribilis in which the shares have left almost 80 percent of their value on the ground.
