ECB liquidity auction: 149,4 billion allocated

The usual refinancing auction held by the European central institute closed with the injection of liquidity for 149,4 billion euros, down from 174 in the previous one – The number of participating banks also decreased, from 267 to 229.

ECB liquidity auction: 149,4 billion allocated

The ECB's seven-day weekly refinancing auction closed with the allocation of liquidity for 149,4 billion euros against 174 billion in the previous one. The auction has unlimited volume and a fixed rate of 0,25%.

The number of banks that participated was also down: 229 against 267 last week. The auction will be settled tomorrow with a deadline of June 11th. Estimates speak of an autonomous liquidity requirement of 518,6 billion euros for the Eurosystem.
