It closed the auction for frequencies 4G telephone calls in the 800 Mhz band, the most precious one. The six lots were divided equally between Vodafone (which spent 992,4 million), Telecom (992,2 million) and Wind (977,7 million). H3g, better known as Tre, remained dry-mouthed.
However, the real winners of the tender were the public coffers, which earned almost three billion euros (2.962.300.000 to be precise). The total amount of the auctions thus rises to over 3,7 billion euros. In the next few days the games will also close for the remaining frequencies, those of 1.800, 2.000 and 2.600 Mhz.
