This morning the Italian Treasury placed government bonds for 7,9 billion euros, below the maximum amount, which had been set at 9 billion.
In detail, three-year BTPs (3,136 billion, with a demand of 4,281 billion), ten-year bonds (2,472 billion, demand at 3,398) and five-year bonds (1,320 billion, against a demand of the same amount) were sold. Yields on three- and 10-year bonds increased, rising respectively to 4,68% (+0,81%) and 5,86% (+0,89%).
Also placed 925,568 million euros of Cct indexed to the Euribor. The gross annual yield recorded a strong increase (+1,10%), settling at 5,63%.
