The Treasury placed 6,5 billion euro six-monthly bills this morning at a rate of 0,023%, up on the 0,007% of the July and August auctions. It's the highest since June. Demand was equal to 1,65 times the supply, an increase compared to the coverage of the previous placement at 1,54.

After the outcome of the auction, the Btp/Bund spread rose slightly to 114 basis points with the Italian ten-year yield at 1,76%. In the same minutes, Piazza Affari travels in the negative by 1,14 percent.
