The Treasury has placed the full amount envisaged, i.e. 6,5 billion euro of one-year BOTs – Coverage ratio down to 1,74, yields up.

The auction closed with rising rates and slightly declining demand Bots at 12 months launched today by the Treasury. The entire expected amount has been placed, 6,5 billion of ordinary Treasury bills, maturing June 14, even if, as mentioned, the coverage ratio fell to 1,74 compared to 1,81 recorded in the May auction.

As for yields, the gross rate was 0,061%, up from the 0,027% recorded in last month's auction. This is the highest yield achieved by BOTs one year after the March auction.
