The Treasury placed this morning Annual bots for 6,5 billion euros, the maximum amount offered, to a yield of 0,387%, down from 0,495% in the previous auction. Interest rates thus fell to a new historical low. Demand amounted to €11,099 billion, with a coverage ratio of 1,71.
After the announcement of the result of the auction, the Ftse Mib shows no signs of reducing its losses, continuing to travel in the red by a good two percentage points. The spread was also bad, rising above 170 basis points, up to 173.
