In the tender for 5G frequencies, the Ministry of Economic Development awarded the blocks for the 700 BDD band for a total amount of 2,039 billion euros to Vodafone, Telecom Italia and Iliad Italia. This is what we read in a note from the same ministry after the phase of competitive improvements in which Iliad, Fastweb, Wind 3, Vodafone and Telecom Italia took part.

"With the sixth round of bids, the tender procedure for the 700 FDD band for generic blocks was closed - reads the note - The total revenue was 1.363.436.396,00 euros, to which is added the reserved block already awarded to the company Iliad Italia for an amount equal to 676.472.792,00 euros".

The procedure for assigning the 700 SDL is still open and the competition on the 3700 MHz band "appears lively"

The total amount of yesterday's winning offers was equal to 2.826.412.258,00 euros, with an increase of 345.409.454,00 euros compared to the initial offers. At 10.00 today, Friday 14 September, the session dedicated to competitive improvements will resume.
