Assosim: the ranking of the 1st semester of shares and bonds

From the six-monthly report of Assosim it emerges that the ranking of shares is dominated by FinecoBank, while that of bonds sees Banca Imi in first place.

It is again FinecoBank the pink jersey of trading in Piazza Affari, while Banca Imi (Intesa Sanpaolo) stands out in the bond market. This is what emerges from semi-annual report of Assosim – the Associazione Intermediari Mercati Finanziari – relating to the transactions carried out by its 70 members on the markets managed by Borsa Italiana, EuroTlx, Hi-Mtf, Equiduct and by some intermediaries in the role of systematic internalisers.

Going into details, the stock ranking, FinecoBank takes the top step of the podium with a 24% market share. In second place is Banca Imi with 10,7%; third is IwBank, with a share of 8,69%.

Wooden medal for Banca Akros (7,01%), fifth place for Banca Aletti (5,93%), while in sixth and seventh we find Equita Sim and Directa Sim which reach 4,95% and 4,81 respectively %. The eighth place in the standings is occupied by Intermonte Sim with 3,79%, the ninth by Banca Sella Holding with 3,76%. Unicredit Bank Ag closes the top ten with 3,63%.

If you take into consideration instead ranking by number of operations, the first two positions remain confirmed, with FinecoBank at 21,58% and Banca Imi at 13,49%, while Banca Akros rises to third place with a market share of 7,26%.

Moving from equity to bond, the ranking of bonds Banca Imi is in first place with a market share of 21,29%, Banca Akros second with 16,44%, Invest Banca third with a market share of 10,23%. In the ranking by number of transactions, BANCA IMI always remains first (24,04%) followed by Banca Akros (16,18%) and Unicredit Bank Ag (10,39%).

The general data on the total exchange value on the Borsa Italiana stock market, equal in absolute value to 363 billion euros, a figure that represents a growth of 7,05% compared to the same period of 2017. The number of contracts traded, equal to 39 million, grew instead of 5,08%. There was a slight decrease in the concentration of trading on the stock market managed by Borsa Italiana on FTSE MIB securities. Compared to the first half of last year, the percentage of trades on the main index stood at 87,80% from 88,70%.
