Territory of Monza and Brianza one of the most important manufacturing districts in Europe

“The teaterritory of Monza and Brianza constitutes one of most important manufacturing districts in Europe: an area which together with Milan, Lodi and Pavia is the driving force of the Italian economy. Many excellences operate here whose strengths are innovation and "know-how". These reality must be supported by the institutions through the creation of the best conditions to increase competitiveness and attractiveness. In this direction, in addition to concentrating efforts in the short term to combat expensive energy, it is necessary to develop a real policy that aims at the country's energy independence thanks to the use, without prejudice, of the mix of sources deemed clean by the European Union. Also, it is it is essential to intervene on the infrastructures, creating a capillary and structured public transport network, to reduce traffic and make the territory more connected: I am referring, for example, to the extension of the M5 to Monza and of the M2 towards Vimercate" he declared Alessandro Spada, President of Assolombarda.
