It opens with positive inflows close to 6,6 billion in 2013 from assets under management. This was communicated by Assogestioni: both Collective Management (3,2 billion) and Portfolio Management (3,4 billion) were positive. Thanks to these results, the total asset management assets therefore rise to the record level of 1,2 trillion euro.
Going into detail, in the Collective Management sector, representing 44% of total assets (530 billion euro), the Funds under Italian law raise 138 million euros, while the products under foreign law are more substantial, over 3 billion euros.
Leading the ranking for funding in January are the Flexible Funds, with funding of 1,9 billion euro. This is followed by the Bond Funds to which savers entrust 1,3 billion euros. Positive sign also for Balanced and Equity.
