The race continues managed savings. Second Assogestioni, in the first quarter of the year the industry of the sector recorded positive net inflows of over 55 billion euros, up by about 90% compared to the 29,4 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2014. The driving force behind the inflows, according to data released by the association, are open-ended funds with subscriptions of 38,6 billion.
Positive balance for flexible products (+€15,4 billion), bonds (+€12,2 billion), balanced products (+€6,5 billion) and shares (+€5,2 billion), as well as mandates, which recorded flows in revenue of 16,6 billion euros. Portfolio management assets exceed 917 billion, equal to 53% of the total assets managed by the industry. Assets managed by the system at the end of the first quarter amounted to 1.731 billion euros.
