The partnership continues between Forex Axiom and SDA Bocconi for the second edition of the Executive Program in “Treasuries & Capital Markets”, which comes with further innovations in the training and professional experience.
The programme, which will take place in Milan for eight weekends from September to December 2018 (on Friday afternoons at SDA Bocconi and on Saturdays at the Assiom Forex headquarters) will develop topics ranging from regulation to the pricing of derivatives, from risk analysis from market to technical and macroeconomic analysis, to also include specialized subjects such as fixed income, trading strategies, credit risk.
A final exam will include both the verification of learning and the presentation by each working group of a case study concerning one of the topics covered in the course, which will be studied in depth from an empirical point of view, in view of the best international practices that highlight the crucial role played by the interaction between teachers and students for the effectiveness of the learning of each member of the group.
The Global Thinking Foundation will provide a scholarship which also includes a six-month internship period at Thomson Reuters and the broker Wood & Co. Other remunerated internships of approximately six months were offered by Intesa Sanpaolo, Invest Banca, Credito Valtellinese, Be Consulting, Banca Generali, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, BPER Banca, Iccrea Banca, Deloitte and Credit Agricole.
“The collaboration between Assiom Forex, SDA Bocconi and Thomson Reuters allows the creation of a unique program at international level, which combines theory and practice in a modern and interactive way, and is dedicated to young people who want to deepen their knowledge of the functioning of markets and financial instruments from an applied perspective, in order to develop useful skills in the operations rooms of banks and asset management companies but also more generally in consultancy companies and institutions that deal with financial asset management” says Andrea Belatti, scientific director for SDA Bocconi, while Massimo Morini will coordinate the work for the part relating to the Association.
