As war rages on at the top of the company, Generali is full of awards at the 2021 edition of the All-Europe Executive Team: among the "Most Honored Companies" of the insurance sector at the 2021 edition of the annual ranking of Institutional Investors, a specialized journal and independent research firm in the field of international finance. The ranking reflects the ratings of more than 1.500 professionals and investors from approximately 600 financial services companies.
Furthermore, the specialized research company also awarded the Group CEO of Generali, Philippe Donnet, which ranks second in the “Best CEO” category. Top step of the podium for the Group CFO, Christian Borean, and the Head of Investor & Rating Agency Relations, Julia Raffo, were classified as “Best CFO” and “Best IR Professionals” respectively. Generali was also among the best companies in the “Best IR Program” and “Best Investor/Analyst Event” categories and obtained the first position as “Best IR Team”.
As for the CEOs, they were evaluated on criteria of credibility, leadership and communication while the CFOs on the ability to allocate capital, finance management and communication. On the other hand, various factors were examined to judge Investor Relations activities, including road shows, the quality of financial information, knowledge of the business and the market, the responsiveness and authority of the company.
