Arvedi: Costamagna on the board of the holding company

Claudius Costamagna, former Chairman of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, joins the board of directors of Finarvedi, holding company of the steel group Goodbye. The company announces it in a note, specifying that Costamagna will follow the M&A and extraordinary finance operations.

Together with the former number one of Cdp, they also enter the Board of Finarvedi Marco Mangiagalli, former top manager of Eni and supervisory director of Intesa Sanpaolo, e Carlo Mapelli, professor of iron and steel at the Milan Polytechnic. The former will deal with structured finance, while the latter will provide support in technical and technological matters.

At the same time, the president John Arvedi he passes the operational management of the group he founded in 1963 to management.

The new governance of Finarvedi strengthens the powers of the CEO, Mario Caldonazzo, which speaks of "an important change in continuity and without shocks for people and the organization". The manager also ensures that "the handover will take place gradually and in the appropriate ways".
