It is Mats Bergquist with the bronze work Ladder (2024), exhibited at the Atipografia stand, Arzignano (VI), the winner of the Icon Award 2024, nominated by the judges Patrizia Nuzzo, Curator of the A. Forti Modern Art Gallery Collection and Matteo Galbiati, journalist. This year, Icona was supported by VILLA PISANI BONETTI ARTE, Bonetti Family for Icona.

All prizes awarded

For the prize Zenato Academy for photography under40 the choice of the jury composed of Nadia Zenato, Luca Panaro artistic director of Zenato Academy, and the art critic Alberto Fiz fell on two works by Dario Picariello presented by Labs Contemporary Art, BolognaAs if it were time (2022) and Hold me before I go(2024). The Zenato Academy Award confirms on the occasion of ArtVerona its desire to enhance and promote the most talented young artists who express themselves through the language of photography.

Il Sustainable Art Prize, one of ArtVerona's projects supporting sustainability issues, is won by the artist Giacomo Segantin presented by Artopia Gallery, Milan. This is the motivation of the jury composed of Matteo Nicolini, University of Verona, Elena Semenzin, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Federica Stevanin, University of Padua, Gabriele Lorenzoni, curator at the Galleria Civica di Trento / Mart and head of ADAC (Archivio Documentazione Artisti Contemporanei). The jury particularly appreciated the artist's ability to preserve the memory of spatiality in the work, as well as the use of techniques for collecting materials to be regenerated in the works through urban collection practices within a collaborative circularity. The artist manifests to the commission a particular sharing of the principles underlying objectives 11 and 12 of the 2030 Agenda.

It's Claire Lindner presented by MAAB Gallery, Milan-Padua the winner of the StARTup Award chaired by Nico Sgarzi, Beatrice Benedetti, independent curator, author and journalist, and Matteo Zauli, director of the Carlo Zauli Museum in Faenza.

He is the artist Dionysis Saraji, presented by Labs Contemporary Art, Bologna, the winner of the Casarini Prize Due Torri Hotel chosen by a jury composed of Stefano Coletto, curator of the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, Erminia Di Biase, collector, Giovanni Paolo, president of the Duetorrihotels Group, Franco Vanetti, general manager of the Duetorrihotels Group and Silvano De Rosa director of the Due Torri Hotel, Verona.  Laura Omacini is instead the winning artist of the Massimiliano Galliani Award for drawing under 40, promoted by the artMacs cultural association and the Municipality of Montecchio Emilia in partnership with ArtVerona. The winner will be selected by a jury composed of Omar Galliani, artist and member of the artMacs cultural association, Fausto Torelli, Mayor of the Municipality of Montecchio Emilia, Elena Pontiggia, art critic and historian, Daniela Ferrari, curator and curator at the Mart – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, and Nicola Verlato, artist, representing the Marignana Arte Gallery in Venice.
