Artists on display for the reconstruction of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris


In the spirit of Gagosian Gallery's ongoing commitment to artists and the arts, i proceeds will be directed to support the renovation and restoration of the medieval cathedral, an icon for the city of Paris and its people, the French nation and the world.

The exhibition will include generous donations from many gallery artists including Balthus, Georg Baselitz, John Currin, Edmund de Waal, Roe Ethridge, Urs Fischer, Theater Gates, Frank Gehry, Katharina Grosse, Andreas Gursky, Michael Heizer, Thomas Houseago, Jia Aili , YZ Kami, Takashi Murakami, Marc Newson, Giuseppe Penone , Sterling Ruby, Ed Ruscha, Jenny Saville, Richard Serra, Setsuko, Cindy Sherman, Taryn Simon, Patti Smith, Blair Thurman and Rachel Whiteread, some of whom have created work especially for this exhibition.

All proceeds from this exhibition will be donated through the Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris and its affiliated French entity La Fondation Notre Dame.
