Ardian flies, assets over 60 billion

The Parisian company founded in 1996 and led by Dominique Senequier has released its 2016 Annual Report, which highlights the more than positive results obtained and the numerous innovative initiatives carried out in the last year

Ardian flies, assets over 60 billion

French private investment firm Ardian has disclosed the results it has achieved since it set up as an independent company four years ago. There was a 70% increase in managed and/or advised assets to $62 billion. 

The announcement of the Parisian company came on the occasion of the publication of the 2016 Annual Report, which highlights the main initiatives of the past year, including in particular the launch of two new lines of business: real estate, which has already concluded two operations in Germany and Italy, e North America Direct Buyouts. The two areas will be key to the company's next stage of development.

2016 was also a significant year for Ardian from the point of view of fundraising: the fourth Infrastructure fund, for example, rose to 2,65 billion euros. 

Ardian has also started a Quest 2016, an internal program designed to identify the company's strategic direction and identity for the next 20 years. The project involves the youngest Ardian "ambassadors" and highlights the trust placed in the talent of the employees. 

Finally, a Digital Committee which aims to enhance digital transformation both within Ardian and its portfolio companies.
