Ardian invests 30 million in the second F2i fund

Ardian, formerly Axa private equity, today announced an investment of 30 million in the second F2i fund. The transaction strengthens the collaboration between the two entities and, also thanks to the contribution of other investors, brings the subscriptions of the second F2i fund, which has a target of 1,2 billion, to 740 million from the 575 million raised with the first closing . 

The second fund launched by the asset management company led by Vito Gamberale, underlines a press release from F2i, can count on a solid base of investors including banks (27%), foundations (26,35%), pension funds (20%), public institutions (13,5%), investment firms (7,5%) and insurance companies (5,4%). 

F2i has already committed 25% of the funding target of the second fund to four specific infrastructure realities in the country, for a total of 309 million euros. These investments include stakes in Sea, Trm (a Turin waste treatment company), Sia and Enel Rete Gas.
