After more than twenty years and a path of uninterrupted growth Ivy changes president. Tomaso Tommasi of Vignano, who has led the Bologna-based multiutility since its inception, considers its mandate to be concluded, which will reach its natural expiry on 27 April 2023, the day on which the Shareholders' Meeting is convened. In its place, the Syndicate Committee of the Group's public shareholders indicated Cristian Fabbri, current central market manager of Hera and managing director of the subsidiary Hera Comm. For the roles of CEO and vice president, the names of Horace Iacono e Gabriel Giacobazzi, who already cover these roles in the multi-utility.

Tomaso Tommasi di Vignano has been Chairman of the Group since November 2002 and, in June 2003, managed its listing on the stock exchange. His leadership has been essential in accompanying the company along a path of development and successes that have made it one of the most important multi-utility companies on the national scene, with a consolidated leadership position in the sectors it covers. A path of uninterrupted growth crowned in 2019 by the entry in the FTSE MIB among the 40 largest stocks of Business Square and, since 2020, in the prestigious international index Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

The growth of the Hera Group

The growth is confirmed by the numbers: from 2002 to today, the Group's workers have more than doubled (from 4.200 to over 9.300 employees), as have the citizens served (from 2 million to over 4,2 million), while the gross operating income increased sixfold, going from 192 million euros to almost 1,3 billion euros. In twenty years the significant ones investments for a total of approximately 8 billion euro, and the more than 50 mergers and acquisitions concluded have made it possible to obtain important synergies and determined the expansion of the corporate perimeter, growing economic effects on the territories served and the creation of value for all stakeholders, starting from employees, customers, suppliers, as well as for the shareholders to whom dividends of over 2 billion euros have been distributed over time.
