Apple continues the battle against Qualcomm in China. Already prosecuted for anti-competitive practices in the US, the San Diego company has received two more complaints from Cupertino, this time on the Dragon market.
Qualcomm, which supplies components, is accused of abusing its dominant position with regard to certain licenses on essential technologies for mobile communications. The company has been informed of the new complaints by the Court of Beijing and has assured that it will defend itself vigorously.
"Apple has been a major beneficiary of our efforts and investments" and "used our technology to become the first and richest smartphone maker in the world," said Qualcomm chairman Derek Aberle.
