Here comes the high-tech heart monitor from Apple. The Cupertino house, reports the San Francisco Chronicle, would be investing heavily to develop a device that, by listening to the sound produced by our blood, can predict the chances of a heart attack. Obviously, the integration of this technology with the most popular Apple products, i.e. smartphones and, in the future, smartwatches, is very likely.
To develop the project Apple, as usual, did things big, relying on Tomlinson Holman, authentic audio technology guru, famous for having developed, among other things, the well-known Lucasfilm THX system. Apple's interest in the development of medical devices is not new, but such a product could represent, in its own way, an authentic revolution in diagnostics: starting tomorrow, a smartphone will be enough to detect any anomalies in our heartbeat.
