The wait is coming to an end, from Wednesday 11 November it is also possible to order the iPad Pro in Italy. Shipping will begin on Friday 13 November.
The iPad Pro, presented last September 10, it starts from 919 euros up to 1.249 euros for the version with more memory. The 32 GB model with Wi-Fi only connectivity costs 919 euros but it goes up to 1.249 euros for the 4GB 128G version. Three colors available: silver, gold and space gray. To buy the Apple Pencil too, you will have to put your wallet in hand for an additional 109 euros. The Smart Keyboard, in anthracite gray, will cost 179 instead.
The iPad Pro, with its "giant" screen, was designed for professionals such as graphic designers or for companies instead of a PC. iPad Pro, in fact, it has a very large 12,9-inch screen: Its shortest edge is equal to the long edge of iPad Air 2.
In terms of hardware, the iPad Pro uses an enhanced version of the iPhone's A9 chip, called the A9X. According to Apple, the tablet's performance is very high, "superior to that of many desktop PCs".
The claimed battery life is 10 hours. The display has the highest resolution ever seen on an iOS device: 2732 x 2048 pixels. The definition, considering the large size of the display, however, is not particularly high: 264 dots per inch.
Apple Pencil is a white stylus which makes the hardware-software interaction its strong point. Combining the Apple Pencil with specially developed apps, it seems to enable high-quality work in the fields of photo editing and creative graphics. The Pencil is recharged through the Lightning port of the iPad. Even this accessory is not exactly low-cost: 99 dollars.
