Procurement: Ivass and Anac adhere to the Bankitalia-Consob-Antitrust protocol

The National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) and the Institute for Insurance Supervision (IVASS) have adhered to the memorandum of understanding for the joint management of joint procurement procedures. The agreement was signed last November by the Bank of Italy, Consob and Antitrust.

"The protocol - reads a statement from the Bank of Italy - defines the methods of coordination between the signatory Authorities to identify joint strategies for the acquisition of works, services and supplies and is functional to the achievement of cost savings".

For this purpose, the establishment of a technical table with the function of guidance, coordination and supervision is envisaged.

"The Memorandum of Understanding constitutes a best practice on the national scene and lays the foundations for raising the quality of public clients, also in terms of transparency and anti-corruption", concludes the note from Bank of Italy. ccen
