Antitrust, Telecom appeals to the Council of State against the 104 million fine

The fine had been decided by the Authority for abuse of a dominant position in the network infrastructures - The company paid the fine, but in recent days it has filed an appeal at Palazzo Spada after the sentence of the Lazio Regional Administrative Court of May 9 which confirmed in the fine decided by the Antitrust.

Antitrust, Telecom appeals to the Council of State against the 104 million fine

Telecom Italy resorts to Council of State against fine of 103,794 million euros received fromAntitrust in May 2013. The fine had been decided by the Authority for abuse of a dominant position in the network infrastructures. 

The company paid the fine, but in recent days it has filed an appeal at Palazzo Spada after the sentence of the Lazio Regional Administrative Court of last May 9 which fully confirmed the fine decided by the Antitrust. 

The complaint to the Authority had been presented by the competing operators Fastweb and Wind, later joined by Vodafone Italia, BT Italia and the Italian Association of Internet Providers.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the Telecom Italia stock dropped 0,7%, a 0,92 euro.
