The "Global Fund - Core Section", managed by Antirion Sgr, has purchased 50% of the property in Principal Place, London, to house the Amazon headquarters in the United Kingdom from the Brookfield building group. Antirion was assisted in the transaction by the law firm Jones Day.
The building, which can accommodate up to 6 people, will be the online sales giant's largest office outside of North America.
The transaction was conducted by a multi-jurisdictional team from Jones Day coordinated by Partners Alessandro Corno and Alistair Grant and involved – in addition to the acquisition of the Property – the definition of a long-term joint venture between Antirion and Brookfield.
