Georgia antique dealer finds the secret recipe for Coca Cola in the attic

He was tidying up the attic when, unexpectedly, he found a yellowed sheet in his hands (dated 1943). On the piece of paper were typewritten the ingredients needed to create - according to him - the most famous carbonated drink in the world. The Coca Cola.

The most famous industrial secret in the world and best kept in history would thus have been violated from an antique dealer in Ringgold (Georgia). “It's not often that you come across such exceptional documents, I'm not kidding – said the man, convinced he had discovered the secret of the wax recipe – It is a letter in which someone has transcribed the components and the process to follow to reproduce the Coca Cola".

The antiquarian, sure of the inestimable value of his discovery, he immediately put the recipe up for sale on Ebay. The base value is 5 million dollars and the "take home immediately" price (ie the tool with which the user can immediately buy the object without it being auctioned off) is as much as 15 million. There is currently no buyer.

Coca Cola has not made any official statement. Ted Ryan, the company's chief archivist, obviously denied everything on a TV show in Atlanta: according to him, the man's letter is in effect a formula for obtaining a "cola-type drink" (a Cola) but not the truly inimitable Coca Cola.
