Advance Serie A: Fiorentina-Juventus, the game of poisons. And for the bianconeri it is proof of escape

The anticipation of the fifth day of the championship offers the leaders a fiery challenge on a traditionally difficult field: after the summer duels for Jovetic and Berbatov (and the recent controversies between the respective owners, even if for other reasons), Montella's Fiorentina he will try to stop the roadmap of the bianconeri, who have always won so far.

Advance Serie A: Fiorentina-Juventus, the game of poisons. And for the bianconeri it is proof of escape

Fiorentina-Juventus is only the anticipation of the fifth day, but it already looks like an escape test. With 4 victories in as many games and with the concomitant missteps of the competitors, the bianconeri have taken off and at this pace it will be difficult for them to stop. Paradoxically, however, the best part is now, because the risk of a relaxation is great and the award-winning company Conte-Carrera will have to be good at avoiding it. “We know we still have a lot to do, we have to try to improve some things and we have time to do it – declared Carrera. – We are only on the fourth day, so surely the other teams will recover. We know that the road is still long, we have to work and improve. Our goal is just that." Therefore maximum attention, also because the Franchi match promises not to be suitable for the faint of heart. There has never been good blood between Fiorentina and Juventus, but the recent tensions have exacerbated the relationship, starting with the clubs. It all started on 17 March last, when the Bianconeri strolled on a Viola reduced to historic lows. It finished 0-5, and someone in Florence turned up their noses at Juve's performance, which didn't stop even when victory was in fact already secure.

But the "beautiful" came this summer: first the Jovetic case, which Marotta and Paratici seduced without going through the Della Valles, then the one relating to Berbatov, the classic straw that broke the camel's back. The Bulgarian had already boarded a flight to Florence (paid for by Fiorentina…), then Juve's meddling blew up an already concluded operation. In the end Berbatov went to Fulham, but it doesn't matter: the "war" had already begun and it ended with a barrel of press releases full of accusations and poison. Now the apple of contention is represented by Conte and by his positioning on the Franchi stands. An argument that, however, does not seem to excite Carrera too much: "Frankly, Antonio, in order not to experience Florentine hostility, could also stay at home given that in the past month and a half we have developed a strong telepathy ... I hope that nothing happens in Florence in the stands , I hope it all ends with simple teasing as is customary in football”. Better to think about the match, which promises to be rather complicated: “They will play like us, they will try to win and interrupt our unbeaten run. We have to go to Florence with the same desire as always: to play the game and not forget our provinciality". Training chapter: after the maxi turnover against Chievo, the typical Juve will return to Franchi. The only possible big player to rest is Mirko Vucinic, who should be preserved in view of the double commitment between Rome and Shakhtar. In his place it is probable that Giovinco will be employed alongside the untouchable Quagliarella. The only doubt concerns the right wing: who between Lichtsteiner (favourite) and Isla will take the starting shirt?
