SERIE A ADVANCES – Pirlo and Morata restore Juve's leadership in the standings: 2 to 0 over Empoli

With Roma knocked out in Naples, Juve are once again leading the table after beating Empoli 2-0 away. Long-awaited match and decisive second half with Pirlo bagging a free-kick in the 16th minute and Morata doubling in the 27th minute.
Tonelli was sent off in the 49th minute (after having previously been cautioned) and a yellow card for Vidal. The referee allows 4 minutes of added time, then blows the whistle and Allegri brings home the victory.

However, the injuries remedied by Ogbonna and Asamoah are worrying Jiuve, who could miss Tuesday's Champions League match against the Greeks Olympiacos.
