Anti-Isis: Paris calls for the use of Italian airports

After last week's internship in Paris and the consequent reaction in the skies over Syria, France is making a first request to Italy for concrete help in the fight against Isis. The French Air Force would like to have some airports available, especially in Sicily, to be used in case of need for the aircraft of the Charles De Gaulle aircraft carrier, engaged in operations against the Islamic State.

Technical sources explain that it is a normal procedure that is triggered when an aircraft carrier operates, to ensure that the aircraft, for safety or technical reasons, can count on an alternative landing on the runway of the same aircraft carrier.
