The Twenty-Second Edition of Annual Webby Awards, awarded to the site mausoleum of Augustus the international award for the Cultural Website category.
The site that tells the story of the emperor Augusto ed was created by TIM Foundation with the scientific collaboration of the Capitoline Superintendency for Cultural Heritage, the website wants to tell the world the story of the emperor Augustus and the Mausoleum. The latter lights up thanks to 55 IP65 certified LED lighting fixtures.
The project sees the creation of an interactive journey through the history of Rome thanks to the support of innovative animation techniques that allow the viewer to get to the heart in 3D.
The site was created by Havas Milan, it is part of the monument recovery project thanks to the donation of 6 million Euros by TIM Foundation a Roma Capitale, Department of Cultural Growth - Capitoline Superintendency.
I Webby awards since 1996 they have represented the most important recognition that rewards excellence on the web, i.e. the "Internet Oscars".
