Anima Holding closes the first quarter with a strong positive: profit of 50 million and revenues of 113 million

Anima Holding closes the first half of 2014 with a clear improvement compared to the same period last year. Indeed, it recorded a normalized net profit of 51,9 million and total revenues of 113 million - respectively +59% and +27% compared to the first quarter of 2013.

The first half of Anima Holding recorded particularly positive results, reporting revenues of 113 million and normalized net income of 51,9 million. Results showing a sharp increase in all items compared to the first period of 2013. 

Particular attention should be paid to the increase in costs which in January-June 2013 amounted to 29,8 million, while in the first half of 2014 32,3 million were spent. Increase mainly attributable to the greater weight of variable costs. 

Profit before tax increased to 5,9 million euros, increasing last year's result by 58%. Even net income showed a substantial increase, equal to 66% more than in the first half of 2013, rising to 40,3 million. 

The first half of 2014 saw a particularly positive trend in net inflows, amounting to around 5 billion euro – one and a half times the net inflows achieved in the entire 2013 financial year. Total assets under management at the end of June 2014 reached 53,5 .46,6 billion euros (compared to 2013 billion euros at the end of 41,5 and XNUMX billion euros in the same period of the previous year).

Net commissions in the first half of 2014 reached 102,6 million euros (compared to 81,5 million euros in the same period of 2013). The figure includes 16,2 million euros of performance fees collected in the half year (9,9 million euros the figure for the first half of 2013).

The Chief Executive Officer of Anima Holding SpA Andrea Carreri commented on the results by saying: “The brilliant outcome of the listing on the Stock Exchange has strengthened our profile as the leading independent operator on the Italian market, confirming the strong interest in our industrial project which we intend to pursue with a renewed level of ambition”.
