Ania, Aldo Minucci reappointed as president for the next three years

Given the impossibility of making up for UnipolSai's defection in the short term, the Executive Committee of Ania (the association of Italian insurers) decided to propose to the shareholders' meeting on 16 December the confirmation of Aldo Minucci as chairmanship for a three-year term and to mandate to Minucci himself to make every attempt to mend with the Bolognese company

Ania, Aldo Minucci reappointed as president for the next three years

The Executive Committee of ANIA will re-propose Aldo Minucci's candidacy for the presidency for the next three years at the meeting on 16 December.

The decision taken today is the result of the impossibility of quickly mending the rift with UnipolSai which has decided to leave the association starting from 2016 January XNUMX.

Therefore, in re-proposing Minucci's candidacy, the ANIA Executive Committee mandated Minucci himself, chairman of the Generali group, to make every attempt to recover and overcome UnipolSai's dissent by fully bringing the Bologna-based company back into the association and jointly identifying the necessary changes to the governance of Ania.

The presidency of the Forum was then entrusted ad interim to Pier Ugo Andreini following the resignation of Silvano Andriani "for strictly personal reasons".
