Mud angels in Romagna amidst songs, smiles and shovels: splendid proof of solidarity

In times of difficulty theItaly he always knows how to amaze the world with his generosity. It is like this once again seeing thousands of people at work volunteers, mostly young, who between songs and smiles shovel the mud in the Municipalities of the Romagna affected by the flood tsunami. They call them the mud angels to remember those who entered the scene for the first time in 1966 on the occasion of the terrible flood of Florence. Now the boys who have arrived in Romagna from many parts of Italy roll up their sleeves and shovel mud non-stop from morning to night but find the strength to joke, to smile and to sing "Romagna mia". And above all to help people in need. The foreign press is admired. It is a show of generosity and solidarity which is a credit to Italy and which deserves only applause. Thank you guys.
