Amplifon, a group that deals with hearing care solutions, has announced two important innovations: the acquisition of 51% of the Brazilian company Direito de Ouvir specialized in the production of hearing aids and the agreement signed with Salmoraighi & Viganò for the opening of 450 'Amplifon Points' in the stores of the Italian eyewear chain.
The acquisition of 51% of the Brazilian company Direction of Ouvir was carried out through Amplifon South America, a 100% subsidiary of the Italian group. Amplifon did not specify the economic details relating to the acquisition but was keen to specify that it will be financed with the cash available to the company and that "will not have a significant impact on the company's balance sheet."
In relation to the close agreement with Salmoiraghi & Viganò, Amplifon underlined that in the 'Amplifon Points', which will be opened inside the stores of the eyewear chain, it will be possible to book a hearing check-up to be carried out in the nearest Amplifon-branded store.
