Amazon: Prime Now arrives in Italy, deliveries in one hour. Here's how it works

Amazon continues to run, this time in the truest sense of the word. The Bezos giant has in fact decided to push on Prime Now, the service that allows Prime customers to receive the desired delivery in one or two hours at most.

Prime Now debuts today in Italy, but for the moment it will be active only in Milan and in some cities in the hinterland. In 2016 the coverage will be extended to other Italian cities.

Customers will be able to choose from 15.000 products, and will literally be able to shop through the new service. You can buy pasta, bread, coffee, yoghurt, ice cream or frozen minestrone, wine, spirits, etc.

How does Prime Now work? The service is active seven days a week from 8 in the morning to midnight. The minimum order to be able to take advantage of it is 19 euros. It will be necessary to download an App (for iOS and Android) through which to choose the products. Delivery within one hour has an additional cost of 6,90 euros, while those who have the patience to wait two hours will receive the products free of charge.

We remind you that the Amazon Prime subscription is available for 19,99 euros per year, including a 30-day trial period for new members.
