Amazon ends up under the lens of the National Labor Inspectorate. Today the inspection access was started at the headquarters of the Amazon Italia Logistica company, in Castel San Giovanni, in the province of Piacenza.
A task force of 11 labor inspectors was organised, a note explains, for the purpose of verifying compliance, with regard to employed personnel, with the rules for the protection of labor relations and social legislation.
The intervention was planned as part of the scheduled inspection activities, with priority attention to the logistics and goods handling sector. The officials of the National Labor Inspectorate are acquiring the declarations from the workers to 'photograph' their working conditions.
