Amazon created 2015 jobs in Europe in 10

The US company has created 600 jobs in Italy, where it has invested 450 million euros: currently the workforce in Italy is 1.400 units, while in Europe it exceeds 40.000.

In 2015 Amazon across Europe 10.000 jobs, of which 600 only in Italy, where it invested 450 million euros. The US giant is planning other hirings, to enrich an employee base that currently in the Old Continent is over 40.000 units. In Italy, Jeff Bezos' company has exceeded 1.400 employees, and will continue to hire at the Milan office, the Customer Service in Cagliari and the two distribution centers in Castel San Giovanni and Milan.

In Europe, investments exceeded €15 billion in infrastructure and activities for distribution centres, customer services, AWS data centers, in research and development. “Italy – said Francois Nuyts, Amazon country manager for Italy and Spain – has grown rapidly thanks to the high quality of our employees who have conveyed Amazon's innovation and excellence to Italian customers. For example, the greater selection of products and I would like to mention the opening of the Food, Personal Care and Made in Italy stores. Or the faster shipments that have allowed us to deliver the products in one day to Prime subscribers and even within the hour in Milan via Prime Now. These new jobs are proof of the trust we place in the Italian economy, of which Amazon is proud to be a part."
