Alexa, the digital assistant made by Amazon, now also speak Italian taste. To use it, just download an app on your smartphone or tablet and start making requests through it smart speaker Echo, some kind of smart speaker. Like an electronic butler, Alexa is equipped with an artificial intelligence that improves over time, registering users' tastes and anticipating their preferences. In addition to making phone calls and sending messages, it can read the news or weather forecast, broadcast music or interact with home automation from smart house. For example, by saying "Alexa, good night", the butler turns off the lights, lowers the blinds and emits sounds that induce sleep.
Alexa also answers commonly asked Google questions (“Alexa, where's Brescello?”), creates shopping lists and reminders, and plays Amazon eBooks.
Alexa is or will be integrated into audio, network or connectivity devices such as Bose, Sonos, Harman Kardon, Jabra, Hama, NETGEAR, Huawei, Sony, Riva, Motorola, TIM, SEAT and more.
Within Amazon Alexa will also be available TOBi, Vodafone's digital assistant. Since the launch of Alexa, customers Vodafone who will have one of the compatible Amazon Echo devices, will be able to communicate with TOBi from their living room, checking in real time information on their SIM or, for example, on their meters, the remaining credit, the Happy smiles balance, and the puk.
Also Tim initiated a for inserting Alexa in the Tim Box. The Amazon home assistant will allow Tim customers to have information on activated services, the status of subscribed offers and activate smart home services and smart devices on the net with simple voice commands.
And i prices? The Echo Plus, the most complete model with seven microphones, costs 150 euros. For Echo Spot, equipped with a screen with which you can video call other owners of an Alexa device or control compatible CCTV cameras, you need 130 euros. Finally, 60 euros is enough for the Echo Dot, the smallest in the range, which can also be connected to the Echo Plus. In any case, for the first period all devices will be sold with a special 40% discount.
