Alleanza Assicurazioni launches “Valore Sostenibile” to invest according to ESG

Alleanza Assicurazioni launches "Sustainable Value". A new investment solution that combines solidity, modularity and sustainability allowing customers to invest in financial markets according to ESG criteria in order to generate a positive impact on the environment and the community.

In detail, the new solution allows 80% to invest in a portfolio with a positive ESG rating of 3,5 and out of 5 in line with 4 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, i.e. jobs and economic growth, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate.

Furthermore, the new full-life solution of the Generali Country Italia Company also offers the possibility of combining the investment with a additional insurance coverage with a duration of 5 years and which provides for an insured capital in the event of death or injury from accidents, available in 2 versions depending on the need for protection.

90% of the capital is invested in “Future Objective Line” composed of a mix of bond and equity funds which aim to promote ESG characteristics and diversify the investment. The funds have been certified by MainStreet Partners, an independent firm according to two levels of analysis: the ESG sustainability rating and based on the fund's positive alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Instead, the remaining part of the capital is invested in the Fondo Euro San Giorgio Separate Management which aims to maximize the return in the medium/long term while maintaining a low level of risk.

Also, through the mechanism “Remixes” it is possible to balance (year by year) the investment on the basis of the yield of the Objective Futuro line and of the Fondo Euro San Giorgio separate management, with the aim of keeping the distribution of the investment constant and thus containing the risk and optimizing the performance. In the event of death, the payment of at least the sum of the invested premiums is guaranteed.

As for the initial single premium, to be paid in a lump sum upon subscription, it starts from a minimum of 5mila euros. At any time, however, it is possible to increase the invested capital with additional payments always starting from 5 thousand euros. After one year from the effective date, the total or partial redemption of the investment can be made and, starting from the fifth year, no penalty will be applied.

This solution is part of the Company's commitment to the country's development by acting both towards the community and towards its consultants, launching new sustainable solutions and disseminating financial culture through the National Financial Education Program.

In this way, Alleanza makes the financial instruments dedicated to complex markets accessible to even the most prudent savers, thus the Company undertakes to improve knowledge and awareness of the current financial context with a view to financial education.

And it is precisely in the context of this program that the Alliance has decided to organize a Investment Day Special Edition. It's about a SDA Bocconi masterclass for Alliance, to deepen the knowledge of markets and financial instruments and understand the value of sustainable investments, thanks to the experience of university professors and internationally renowned experts in the economic-financial field.

The masterclass will be divided into two digital appointments: the 21 and the 28 September from 18:30 and will be open to all Alleanza customers who choose Sustainable Value until 31 August 2021. In addition, there is the exclusive possibility of extending the invitation to a friend as well.

“Sustainability means doing business well with a positive impact on the real economy, i.e. on people's lives – Renato AntoniniHead of Life and Non-Life at Alleanza Assicurazioni -. It is the way in which we concretely translate Generali's strategy by interweaving our business and community commitment. We extend this vision to our customers with Sustainable Value which completes the path started in 2020 with the launch of the Evergreen family. In fact, today we offer a sustainable investment solution on the market with the aim of satisfying investors who are looking for good returns, but with due attention to market risks. For us, this means doing business well with a positive impact on the lives of people and communities. Today more than ever, we believe it is essential to commit ourselves to issues with a high social impact, primarily financial education, a value for the development of families and the insurance sector."
