At the annual Convention in Genoa, CEO Davide Passero announced record results and outlined the next sustainable growth plan that leverages: Protection, Investments, Distribution Quality, Digitization, and Use of Data.

Insurance Alliance, a Generali group company, has chosen Genoa – the city where it was founded in 1898 – to bring together agents and management from all over Italy on the occasion of its 124th anniversary.

All projects Annual convention entitled "Traveling together", which was held today at the Magazzini del Cotone in Genoa, Davide Passero, CEO of the company, announced record results and planned the next three-year plan di sustainable growth of the company, which leverages on: Protection, Investments, Distribution Quality, Digitization, and Use of Data. 

The results of Alleanza Assicurazioni

In 2021 Alliance recorded a new production record of over 3 billion, which grew by 33% in the three-year period, starting from the end of 2018. In the first half of 2022, new business reached 1,6 billion (+6% compared to the first half of 2021, in a negative market context which marks -11% in the same period). Today the solvency ratio of the company stands at 265%, among the highest in the market.

In the ambito Life, Health and Home Protection, Alleanza doubled its total protection income in the three-year period 2019-21, reaching almost 300 million. At the same time, the satisfaction encountered by customers increased: the NPS (Net promoter score) in 2021 reached 23%, growing by more than 10 points in the three-year period 2019-21.

In 2022 the Company stood out with important numbers both in production and in collection and it did so in a scenario that remains challenging, still characterized by the pandemic, geopolitical tensions and a complex global macroeconomic context. These results confirm that Alleanza is an excellence for the Generali group and for our country”. 

David Sparrow, CEO of Alleanza Assicurazioni and country chief marketing & product officer of Generali Italia said: “This return to Genoa, the city where our company was founded in 1898, has for us a strong symbolic meaning of restarting after a long period crossed from the pandemic. In fact, the last three years have represented a demanding and challenging path for Alleanza, through epochal changes. Despite the complex global context, we successfully completed the 2019-21 plan, achieving record results and achieving all the objectives we set ourselves. Now the new 2022-24 strategic cycle is starting, founded on five pillars: the development of protection and investments, the further push on digitalisation, the quality of distribution, the use of data".

Financial Education Month

Commitments also continue in the field offinancial education. In February 2002, Alleanza Assicurazioni launched a "National Program of Financial and Insurance Education", divided into free seminars which in recent years have attracted over 256 participants in over 785 events, divided between "Protection Day", "Investment Day" and "Retirement Day". 

Also this year the company adheres to the “Financial Education Month” – organized by the Financial Education Committee and supported by the MISE – through a series of events which will culminate on 27 October in Rome with the presentation of the “Edufin Index”, the first edition of the Observatory of Alleanza Assicurazioni and the Mario Gasbarri Foundation, in collaboration with SDA Bocconi, on the awareness and financial and insurance behavior of Italians. 

The "Alliance Investment Days – Special new Italians”. The appointments: 

  • 5 October: “Investment Day – Special Filipino community”, a national event held online (in the Filipino language) dedicated to the Filipino community based in our country, with the aim of increasing participants' skills on financial and insurance issues.
  • 13 October, 18.30 pm: “Investment Day – Special South American community”, a second national online appointment (in Spanish) to involve the Spanish community present in Italy on the main financial, insurance and social security issues.
  • 25 October, 18.30 pm: “Investment Day – Special Romanian community”, a third module aimed at the Romanian community in Italy (in Romanian) to support families in dealing with financial, insurance and social security issues.
