Alleanza Assicurazioni completes the largest digitisation

From customer profiling to purchase with digital signature and payment via mobile pos In less than a year Alleanza Assicurazioni, a Generali group company active in social security and in the protection of Italian families, has completed the Digit@ll Care project, the new mobile customer management model. This is one of the largest digitization projects in the European insurance sector: today there are 3.500 company consultants equipped with tablets able to serve customers at home and give timely responses to everyone's needs.

“In recent years, our company has focused on significant investments in training and technology to ensure higher standards of service and promptness towards customers - commented Davide Passero, CEO of Alleanza Assicurazioni - We don't just manage policies, we manage relationships and thanks to digital and social media we can increase our ability to relate to our policyholders. A strategy that once again in 2016 allowed us to achieve growing results and to confirm the all-time record of new business at euro 2 billion. You can and must leave your mark. We owe it above all to our customers who want more consultancy, more quality, more service".

In terms of financial statements, Alleanza closed 2016 with premium income of 4,6 billion euro (+2% compared to 2015), net life income of 1,4 billion (+25%) and new business at 2 billion. In particular, pension plans recorded a double-digit increase (+38%) thanks to the consultancy campaign launched last year, "Allies for Social Security", which helped Italian families interpret the orange envelope sent by INPS. Alleanza has a 15% market share in pensions.

The results were presented during a convention in Genoa which brought together employees and managers from the entire Italian network. Also present was Generali's country manager, Marco Sesana.

The annual Convention was also the occasion to launch the new “Valore Alleanza” insurance solution, designed to meet the need for protection, return and liquidity of capital in the current context of low interest rates. It is a latest generation hybrid product which aims to grow savings with competitive yields compared to government bonds over a time horizon of at least 5 years.

The composition of the investment combines the Euro San Giorgio separate management, characterized by stable returns over time, with the Alleanza Obbligazionario Fund, which adopts a prudent investment strategy with higher returns than government bonds, based on limited volatility. Added to this are guarantees of protection for accidents and injuries, for those who want to protect not only their capital but also their own person and family.
