On Monday 17 November 2014 (11,00 -13,00 Aula Magna Mario Arcelli – LUISS Guido Carli – Viale Pola 12, Rome) the centenary of the birth of Bruno Visentini (1914-2014), former Minister of Finance before and of the Treasury then in the 70s and 80s and a great expert in tax and corporate law.
After the greetings of Massimo Egidi, LUISS Rector Guido Carli, and Alessandro Laterza, President of the Bruno Visentini Foundation, there will be the testimonies of Filippo Maria Pandolfi, Adolfo Battaglia and Massimo Riva
The historian Giuseppe Galasso, Emeritus Professor at the Federico II University of Naples, will give a report on "Bruno Visentini, politician of economic institutions"
The research guidelines for the 'Centenary' will then be presented by Fabio Marchetti, Scientific Co-Director of the Bruno Visentini Foundation (FBV) and, Director of Ceradi LUISS Guido Carli on "The topicality of the major issues of the 1971 Tax Reform", by Gustavo Visentini, FBV Scientific Director on "The renewal of the legal infrastructures of the Italian system: markets and society" and by Franco Gallo, President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court on "The renewal of the legal infrastructures of the Italian system: the reasons for the tax authorities".
