Alitalia: yes to the Cisl and Uil agreement, the CGIL is asking for time

The signing of the unions on the agreement for Alitalia is one step away: Cisl, Uil and Ugl are ready to give the go-ahead, while the CGIL is asking for three days to express its opinion on the latest government proposal. The agreement would have been reached on the last text presented by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Maurizio Lupi.

According to trade union sources, the minister would have confirmed the 2251 redundancies, with 616 people relocated within the company perimeter, 681 outsourced by 31 December and 954 in mobility with the experimentation of relocation contracts.

As regards the 616 employees who should be relocated within the company perimeter, 250 should be flight attendants with the solidarity contract, another 200 would replace seasonal workers and the rest would be covered by voluntary retirements and resignations.

The 681 outsourced workers, on the other hand, should be directed to the maintenance, information technology and supplier perimeter areas of both Alitalia and Adr.
