Due to the strike called for 23 February by the trade unions USB and CUB Trasporti and by the professional associations ANPAC and ANPAV (for the whole day with the exception of the guaranteed slots 7.00-10.00 and 18.00-21.00), and by the confederal unions Filt -Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uiltrasporti, Ugl-Ta (from 14 to 18 pm), Alitalia was forced to cancel 60% of scheduled flights, both domestic and international. The Company immediately activated an extraordinary plan to reroute the largest number of passengers involved in the cancellations on the first available flights.
