Luca Cordero di Montezemolo will not be president of Alitalia. Ferrari's number one assured him, denying an indiscretion that had been circulating in the press for weeks.
"It's a hypothesis that doesn't exist," said Montezemolo on the sidelines of a Ferrari presentation in Modena, responding to those who asked him to confirm his possible commitment to Alitalia as president.
Montezemolo, who is also vice president of Unicredit, a bank that covers the double role of shareholder and major creditor of Alitalia, reiterated that he intends to continue with his commitment to Ferrari.
