Alitalia, no flights on Monday due to strike by pilots and hostesses

Subject to breaking news, next Monday theAlitalia will not fly for one strike of 24 hours proclaimed today by the pilots of Anpac and by the unions of flight attendants of Alitalia and Cityliner.

The airports of Genoa, Bari and Brindisi will be excluded from the strike.

The unions have taken to the fight because they consider the employment guarantees provided by the company at the end of the solidarity contracts which will expire in February 2016 to be insufficient.

"We will not accept ambiguous compromises or choices that could lead to further employment problems" thunder the unions, with all due respect to the travellers.
