The patron of the SS Lazio would have formalized and deposited a expression of interest to acquire shares in Alitalia, applying to join the newco together with FS and Delta Airlines. Lotito, he writes Republic, "will have to dialogue" with the two companies to demonstrate that they have what it takes to "manage the future Alitalia". Lotito confirmed the news to Ansa.
